Beautiful Hand Crafted Drum
Loud, Rich Sound from Both Ends.

This fine instrument is approximately 18″ tall and 12″ diameter. There will be slight variations in the size because each one is made totally by hand with primitive tools. The skins are goat and are bound amazingly tight with gut. There is a gut strap woven in to the side to carry the drum. The body is made from the hollowed bulb of a coconut tree and is finished. These are great to play but also make a very strong and comfortable seat or end table. The craftsmanship is beautiful and traditional. I have had many different drums and particularly like this design for the bold sound and ascetics. This drum was crafted 16 years ago and is well seasoned with no cracking. Sound quality and volume is 10/10 !
NOTE: If you like, I can check the tuning so you may choose the key.

These are very special and you will not find them anywhere else. Hand carried out of the mountains in the Golden Triangle. These Drums are the “real thing” and only a few have been made. You may call for the history.
