Mother With Child Pounding Rice
After the rice grains are separated from the panicles, they are pounded to remove the hard inedible outer hull. Commonly the rice is placed in a mortar and pounded with a pestle. This is a great example of traditional tools. |
This beautiful Bone/Resin sculpture is 12″ tall. This is a great looking piece and very unusual. The bottom is very smooth and will not scratch fine furniture. |
