We have not sold these for several years but have been ask to offer them again. Some of the silk pieces were made by members of my wife’s family in Northeast Thailand. Most of them came from across the Mekong in Laos. My wife tells stories of how they grew the worms (ate the worms) spun the silk, died the silk and then wove the silk on homemade wooden looms. A piece like what we are offering could take from one to three weeks to complete! the older women still do this work and I love to be around them when they working; there is something spiritual about it and it make me feel peaceful. There is nothing more rewarding than a job well done that you can see, touch and feel.

Each silk has been hand selected so you can’t go wrong with any of them.
If you receive a silk that just doesn’t work for you, we will exchange it for one that does.

The silk size is approximately 7 feet long + the fringe x 17 inches wide.
