I spent a lot of time choosing my Bowls and not from the normal tourist oriented vendors. After finding a select source, much time was spent selecting
only a few Bowls. I only considered the older bowls. I was most interested in tone, ease of playing and history. This is one of my personal bowls kept back, never offered for sale.  This is the real thing and exceptional. 

 The tones are strong and true. Ease of playing was a major consideration on each Bowl chosen.

As a bell, it will easily ring for a full minute when lightly struck while resting on the palm of your hand.
