This type bell has an opening in the top where a clapper can be hung but they are traditionally struck with a mallet. A mallet is supplied with the Bell

This is an extremely large Bell with Booming Tone. It is 31″ tall and 15″ diameter. Bells are not like other lost wax castings as the mold is destroyed as each Bell is produced. No two Bells are exactly alike. The bronze is 1.1/4″ thick at the base and the weight is approximately 80 pounds. This is a very beautiful bell and sounds great!

Note that Bells from this SE Asian region are traditionally blackened but we can lighten and polish areas if you request. I have included pictures showing the traditional dark finish and the polished finish. We are schooled patinist and can make the appearance as you like it. We also finish the inside of every Bell that comes out of our shop.
